HOSTEL REVIEW: Noosa Caravan Park

Noosa is slightly limited campsite wise within a good proximity to the main surfing beaches and shops, but this site was about a 5-10min journey to First Point, but closer to the shops.

Nimbin Day Trip

Anyone who has ever been to Byron will tell you to do a day trip to Nimbin.

Nimbin is a little hippy town about an hours drive inland from Byron, made famous by the 1973 Aquarius festival.

It’s famous on the backpacker trail for one main reason – cookies.

STA Travel Review

Ok so the lovely guys n girls at STA TravelBuzz…well girl…the endearing Camilla…have asked me to review my experiences with STA Travel.

I’d like to point out that despite my travel writings for STA TravelBuzz I have no connection with the company, and I have no reason not to criticise them if I feel criticism is needed.

Sydney Wildlife Park

So after the rather large let down that was Taronga Zoo yesterday me, Kez and Bekki headed to the Wildlife Park on Darling Harbour with rather higher, yet slightly reserved hopes.

Opting for the 2 park pass for $49 (saving 20%) we had entry to both the Wildlife Park and the Aqaurium – both situated a short stroll from the Opera House, and just round the corner from Palm Grove.
