Well today was pretty freaking epic.

After last nights party carnage I started the day with a pretty significant hangover!
A good brew at the Beach Hotel brought that under slight control though!

As I watched the waves at The Wreck roll in I decided to bite the bullet and go for a session…lets face it that first duck dive will either make or break your hangover!

Why I fell in Love with Noosa

So the 2010 Noosa Longboarding Festival is now all wrapped up; it’s lived up to the promised “8 days of pure stoke” that the organizers promised.

We’ve had cyclone warnings, pumping swells, thunderstorms, beaming sunshine, reeling point breaks and some of the best longboarders in the world doing what they do best – including the final of the Golden Breed Noserider challenge, with some serious tip time despite the not so perfect conditions on that day.

Noosa Festival – Finless Special

After leaving a rainy Fish Fry behind I hit the aptly named Sunshine Highway and finally set about reaching the destination I’ve craved since landing in Australia – Noosa Heads.

My love for Noosa – despite never being there before – is founded on photos and tales of epic point breaks, perfect for longboarding and with the backdrop of the national park and a quaint little town.

mmm…swell

So finally the true face of Byron has begun to show and the swell has started to roll in.

This makes me muchos happy as I’d just got back in the swing of surfing everyday on the way up…!

Couple of days break was kind of needed though…I’m well out of practice!

But I wasn’t going to turn down any swell that came through!
