The Beach Hotel – or the Beachie as it’s more commonly known – is a great venue for a drink…or maybe two!

Top Ten Tuesday – SPECIAL GUEST POST
9 06 2010Once again Top Ten Tuesday has been delayed. My bad. But for once this was a planned delay!
This morning I interviewed Matt – the lead singer of The Beautiful Girls – and as part of the interview I asked him to do a guest post top 10.
So this week is Top Ten Australian Indie Bands , according to TBG.

A Trio of Delights
2 04 2010So the day started off rather less than perfect – covert camping involves early rises, something I’m not the best at!
It then got worse with the fact that Woolworths was closed due to it being Good Friday.
Great.

A Brushfire Hits Byron
1 04 2010The sting of portaloos on my nostrils and the mud caking my shoes is a rather off yet comforting feeling.
It means that festival season has kicked off :)
But it’s not the Somerset fields of Glastonbury that I’m residing in, nor is it the sandy dunes of Croydes Oceanfest.
It’s 25 degrees, I’m in boardies and flip slops.
I’m at Byron Bay Bluesfest – Australias biggest camping festival.
