This is one of the images from the last leg of my West Coast campervan trip. Before heading to Darwin we spent a few days in the spectacular landscape of Litchfield National Park – where rock wallabies, awe inspiring views and swimming in waterfalls are in plentiful supply! FROM THE VAULT: Welcome to Sydney!

It dawned on my today that this time 365 days ago I’d just reached another milestone in my Oz adventure…I landed from Darwin into Sydney International, the city that I would call home for Xmas and new year.
The city that would see me reunite with old friends.
And the city that would eventually lead me into a dramatic change of plans that resulted in my east coast road trip with Kerri….and we all know how that developed!

HOSTEL REVIEW – Banyan View Lodge

Really nice little hostel. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, tidy and with air con. Free internet access which is always a bonus and close enough to the town centre if you want to party (which we did!).
