So the final day of Bluefest came around pretty fast. After 5 days of laid back tuneage, new discoveries and general enjoyment the final day was going to be pretty easy shooting wise as there wasn’t much on the bill that I hadn’t already seen or wanted to shoot.

Can I have an Immitation White Russian?
4 04 2010Today kicked off rather more smoothly than usual…which worried me slightly!
After arriving on site my first port of call (besides writing for you lot and editing pics) was a band called eMDee.
The programme described them as a techno didgeridoo and bass setup – sounded like the perfect start to the second to last day of Bluesfest!

Revisiting Some Old Favourites
3 04 2010After a rather stressful and hectic morning plagued with van related issues I didn’t arrive at the festival until around 3pm – which was rather annoying as it meant I had to cancel an interview with Newton Faulkner…gutted!

A Trio of Delights
2 04 2010So the day started off rather less than perfect – covert camping involves early rises, something I’m not the best at!
It then got worse with the fact that Woolworths was closed due to it being Good Friday.
Great.

A Brushfire Hits Byron
1 04 2010The sting of portaloos on my nostrils and the mud caking my shoes is a rather off yet comforting feeling.
It means that festival season has kicked off :)
But it’s not the Somerset fields of Glastonbury that I’m residing in, nor is it the sandy dunes of Croydes Oceanfest.
It’s 25 degrees, I’m in boardies and flip slops.
I’m at Byron Bay Bluesfest – Australias biggest camping festival.
