Next Stop Morocco!

I’ve been back in the UK for nearly 3 months now – and to be honest I’m getting slightly itchy feet for warmer climates again. Sure the snow was fun but I do love relaxing in the sun a fair bit more!

There’s also been a distinct lack of surf on my part too. A horrible combination of work and lack of swell…so I’m in dire need of some salt water therapy.

Cheeky Staff Party

After missing out on the insane drunkenness of the Industry party on Thursday I was uber stoked for Sunday – for Sunday was the day of the Cheeky staff party.

Most staff parties are fairly boring, nothing too fun. But he crew at The Monkey are employed because we are party people. The day was going to get loose!

Cove, The Great Ocean Road

This picture was shot on the Great Ocean Road – which runs along the southern coast from Melbourne. Amongst the Twelve Apostles, surfing beaches and rain forest roads lie heaps of beautiful secluded coves. If you pick the right one you can have the white sandy beaches all to yourself and cool down in the warm waters. Bliss

Cape Tribulation

Word of advice to travellers….if you can do it off your own back you’ll save yourself alot of dollar!

In this instance Cape tribulation was going to cost us around $160 per person. Instead me, the 2 dannys, linzi and becky managed to do it for $60 per person including accomodation – now that a hefty saving that can be used towards goon supplies! Read the rest of this entry »
