Farewell to the Sibling

Yesterday I said farewell to my brother, Josh, who came over during his Uni summer holiday to surf and party with me here in Byron Bay.
But in true Stevens fashion it wasn’t well planned!

As you may have already read, this week my little bro left Byron and headed back to the UK after 7 weeks of soaking up the Aussie sun and riding the waves with me. Despite all our pre Oz banter and planning we didn’t achieve much during his stay – we basically surfed all day and partied all night! Which was fine! But here’s my Top Ten Things We Should’ve Done!

A Good Send Off

Saturday and Sunday were my brothers last few days in Byron, and indeed Australia – so needless to say we packed them full of treats to give him a good send off.

Arrival of the Sibling

At 9:20am yesterday I was in Brissie airport in the arrivals lounge waiting for a curly haired Devonian to collect his baggage…the little brother had landed :)
