A Packed Few Weeks…

So I’m now back in the UK for the foreseeable future, and the last few weeks have been rather jam packed with a whole heap of things.

A Pretty Sick Weekend

This past weekend has been pretty sweet, despite a few issues. In fact said issues kind of lead to the weekend.
Stressed and needing to clear my head I’ve been on a pretty chaotic few days here in the Bay.

Industry Partaaaaaaaay!

There are a couple of reoccuring events in Byron Bay that every bus tout looks forward too.

The first is the Cheeky bus tout night.

The second, and rather more messy one is the Aquarius Inudstry Parties.

I’ve been in Australia for nearly 10 months now – and I can safely say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it (minus the hangovers of course!) but why Australia? What made me want to spend so much time in a place so far from home? So this week I’m bringing you my Top 10 Reasons I Came To Oz.

BYRON FEATURE; Nightlife – Cheeky Monkeys

After living in Byron for the last four months I’ve got pretty networked into this quaint little seaside town and have experience a lot of what it has to offer. So I thought I’d pass on my word of semi local wisdom to you all so that if you ever visit here you’ll be able to make the most of your time.
Over the next few weeks I’m going to put together a feature page which will include everything from drinking to things to do.

To kick it off I thought I might as well start with arguably the most famous of Byrons attractions – it’s nightlife – or more to the point, Cheeky Monkeys.

Arrival of JimBoy

This week as been taken up by a lot of partying in the Bay…for I’m now reunited with the Welsh legend that is Jimmy!

Having not seen him since my leaving party in Newport (where many teapots were consumed and much mischief was had) I was stoked a few months ago when he said he was quitting his job and heading Down Under – much persuaded by my Facebook photo updates and bloggings!

Cheeky Monkeys Turns 10

Ok so first off I’d like to apologise (AGAIN!) for the lack of blogging in the last few days….its been rather hectic in my world and I simply haven’t had the time to fit everything in! My bad!

Last night was the Cheeky Monkeys 10^th birthday bash. A night of unadultareted carnage to celebrate 10 years of Byrons most successful night life venue.

An all night event, strictly guest list and VIP only it was bound to get loose.

New Year

It was 4:30am.

I was shattered.

Kerri was shattered.

The newly found Becki was shattered.

But we were laden with supplies, pilliow cases and sheets.

We were heading out for Sydneys legendary New Years Fireworks!
